Sensational School Sailing
by Stanley on Apr.18, 2009, under Misc
I truly believe in the value of a good education. That’s why, when the Creative Opportunities organization invited me along as a Celebrity Chaperon on their class trip, I readily accepted, and brought George along as my cabin mate.
We set sail from San Diego, and made our way to Catalina and then Ensenada, before heading home 4 days later.
The students were sensational, and we all had a fantastic time. Especially George, who probably put on a good 8 pounds from all the food he ate.
[ed note: I only gained 3 — George]
So make sure you’re doing your part to support education. Our children are the future of our nation… and some day we’ll need them to bring us soup.

Trippin Tulum Triumph

So the last leg of our Caribbean cruise took the ship to Cozumel, Mexico. Most of the group went 4-Wheeling on the dunes, but Clay and I took a bus ride down to the Mayan Ruins at Tulum. It was AWEEEEEEEEEEEESOMEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Lots of folks recognized me and wanted their picture taken with me, which was really flattering. Although the Spanish term for Puppet, which is Cookie Eater, is a little derogatory, I tried not to take offense.
